Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team by assisting the pharmacist, entering patient and drug information, and helping fill prescriptions.

You will handle inventory, process third-party claims, assist customers, and help maintain regulatory compliance while delivering a positive customer experience.

Training and certification requirements include PTCB/ExCPT, willingness to obtain immunization certification, and a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist in pharmacy operations under supervision by the pharmacist.
• Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems.
• Fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting and pouring drugs.
• Maintain inventory and assist with Rx KPI analysis with store leadership.
• Assist with customer service and directing customers to OTC products.
