Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking a pharmacy technician to assist pharmacists in dispensing, data entry, and patient service. You will support pharmacy operations, manage inventory, and help ensure accuracy and safety in dispensing medications under supervision.

The role requires a valid PTCB or ExCPT certification (where applicable), at least one year of related experience, and a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. Immunization certification within 90 days is preferred.

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in dispensing.
• Enter patient and drug information; verify interactions.
• Assist in pharmacy workflow and inventory management.
• Handle customer questions and direct to pharmacists as needed.
• Support Walgreens healthcare clinics and coordination with providers.
