Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist in pharmacy practice under supervision by the pharmacist.
• Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems; fill prescriptions and check interactions.
• Support inventory management; process third party claims; assist with clerical duties.
• Lead workflow with Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist; maintain compliance.
• Support Walgreens health services and coordination with medical providers.
