Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the Pharmacy Manager and Pharmacist by dispensing medications, entering data, and assisting with inventory. You will help ensure accuracy and safety in every prescription while delivering excellent customer service in-store.

Responsibilities include processing third-party claims, assisting with clinic operations where applicable, and maintaining a compliant, efficient workflow under pharmacist supervision.

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
• At least 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in dispensing and verifying medications.
• Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems and check for interactions.
• Maintain pharmacy inventory and assist with store stock control.
• Provide customer service, helping customers locate OTC items and answer questions.
• Support clerical tasks and coordination with healthcare providers as needed.
