Walgreens Co. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists in dispensing medications, entering patient data, and supporting daily pharmacy operations.

You will help maintain accuracy in prescription processing and ensure smooth workflow in a retail setting. Under supervision, you will handle calls, assist customers, and support inventory management while coordinating with healthcare providers and clinic services.

Formación

• PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Assist pharmacists in filling prescriptions by retrieving, counting and pouring drugs, and verifying accuracy.
• Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems and maintain workflow.
• Handle phone calls not requiring the pharmacist’s attention and coordinate with providers.
• Lead inventory management activities for the Pharmacy Department, including ordering and storage.
• Support clinical services and coordination with Walgreens healthcare clinics and external providers.
