Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists in dispensing medications, processing prescriptions, and maintaining inventory. You will interact with customers to provide friendly service and support day-to-day pharmacy operations.

Under supervision, you will handle prescription processing, third-party claims, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards while supporting the store team and healthcare providers in the community.

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of the pharmacist, assist in pharmacy practice according to policy and codes.
• Enter patient and drug information in pharmacy systems; fill prescriptions and ensure accuracy.
• Support pharmacy manager and staff pharmacist with workflow and inventory management.
