Walgreens Co. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team under pharmacist supervision. Responsibilities include entering patient and drug information, processing prescriptions, and assisting with inventory management to ensure accurate and safe dispensing.

You will help with scheduling, customer interactions, and coordination of clinical services as needed. The role emphasizes accuracy, compliance with policy, and teamwork to deliver quality patient care.

Formación

• PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. (Except in Puerto Rico).
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.

Responsabilidades

• Assist pharmacists in dispensing by entering patient and drug information and verifying accuracy.
• Support pharmacy operations including scheduling, inventory management, and handling cash register duties as needed.
• Process (correct and resubmit) manual third-party claims efficiently and coordinate with pharmacy staff on workflow.
• Provide customer assistance, guide to OTC products, and support Walgreens service traits to ensure a positive experience.

Conocimientos

PTCB/ExCPT certification

Fluent in English

Willingness to work flexible schedule
