Job summary

Under pharmacist supervision, assist in processing and clerical tasks and help maintain smooth pharmacy operations in a store setting. The role includes inventory management, cash handling, and supporting clinical services and Walgreens healthcare clinics as required.

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. (Except in Puerto Rico).
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in dispensing prescriptions and entering patient and drug information.
• Fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting and pouring medications and verify accuracy.
• Maintain pharmacy inventory and assist with cash handling and customer service.
