Job summary
Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team in Chandler, AZ. Under pharmacist supervision, you will enter patient data, fill prescriptions, and help maintain workflow while upholding Walgreens policies and patient safety.
The role requires PTCB/ExCPT certification and at least 1 year of pharmacy tech experience, with English fluency and immunization certification within 90 days. Flexible scheduling and a customer-first mindset are valued.
Qualifications
- PTCB or ExCPT certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
- 1 year of pharmacy technician experience in retail or hospital setting.
- Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.
Responsibilities
- Assist in pharmacy under supervision of pharmacist and follow policy.
- Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems accurately.
- Fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting and pouring drugs; verify accuracy.
- Assist with scheduling and maintaining workflow in the pharmacy.
- Report prescription errors to pharmacist and adhere to quality policies.
