Job summary

Qualifications

• English fluency required in reading, writing, and speaking.
• Experience in customer service is needed in a retail or healthcare environment.
• Certification through PTCB or ExCPT is required (except in Puerto Rico).

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist in dispensing medications and processing prescriptions under supervision.
• Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems accurately.
• Fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting and pouring medications; verify accuracy and check for interactions.
• Support pharmacy inventory management, including ordering and stocking of pharmaceuticals.
• Coordinate with the Pharmacy Manager, Staff Pharmacist, and Store Manager to maintain workflow and service quality.
• Assist with clinical services as needed and support the Walgreens healthcare clinics and external providers.
