Job summary

Walgreens is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to engage customers, assist pharmacists, and support daily pharmacy operations in-store. You will enter patient data into pharmacy systems, dispense prescriptions, and help ensure accurate, safe medication handling.

Under the supervision of the pharmacist, you’ll maintain inventory, process third‑party claims, and assist with clinical services and outreach to the medical community. English fluency and flexibility with scheduling are required.

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist in dispensing prescriptions and entering patient information into pharmacy systems.
• Perform clerical duties and manage cash register and third‑party claims processing.
• Lead pharmacy department inventory management: ordering, receiving, storage.
• Support clinical services and coordination with health care providers.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and Pharmacy Code of Conduct.
