Job summary

Walgreens pharmacy seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacist-led operations, enter patient and drug information, fill prescriptions accurately, verify medicines, and help maintain safe, efficient dispensing workflows.

You will assist with inventory management, process third-party claims, provide courteous customer service, and collaborate with store staff to uphold Walgreens policies and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in retail or hospital setting.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in dispensing prescriptions, including entering patient and drug information and verifying medicine accuracy.
• Support inventory management and pharmacy department duties, including ordering and stocking pharmaceuticals.
• Process manual and third-party claims efficiently and accurately, and maintain proper documentation.
• Provide exemplary customer service, guide customers to OTC products, and uphold Walgreens service standards.
