Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to greet customers, assist with product and service needs, and support the Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist in daily operations.

Under pharmacist supervision, you will manage prescription processing, inventory, and clerical duties while maintaining compliance with policy and quality standards. Strong English communication and flexibility are required.

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist under pharmacist supervision in dispensing and clerical duties.
• Enter patient and drug information in pharmacy systems accurately.
• Fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting and pouring drugs; check for interactions.
• Lead inventory management and support Walgreens asset protection practices.
• Coordinate with medical community to support patient care and clinics.
