Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacist, assist in dispensing prescriptions, and ensure accurate entry of patient and drug information. You will help with inventory management, processing third-party claims, and delivering friendly customer service while upholding the Pharmacy Code of Conduct and maintaining compliant store operations.

This role requires English fluency, willingness to work evenings/weekends, and the ability to obtain or maintain required

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification is required (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in dispensing prescriptions and verifying medicine.
• Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems accurately.
• Assist with pharmacy inventory management and supplier orders.
• Process third-party claims and handle related clerical duties.
• Provide courteous customer service and direct customers to OTC products.
