Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist the Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist in providing high-quality patient care. You will enter patient data, fill prescriptions under supervision, and help manage inventory and workflow in a fast-paced retail pharmacy.

The role requires PTCB/ExCPT certification (where applicable), one year of experience, and strong English communication. A flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, is expected.

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
• At least 1 year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire where required.

Responsibilities

• Assist under pharmacist supervision in the practice of pharmacy.
• Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems accurately.
• Fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting and pouring medications; verify accuracy.
• Assist in scheduling and maintaining workflow in the pharmacy.
• Lead inventory management: ordering, unpacking, checking, storing medicines.
• Support Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist with data review and improvement efforts.
