Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; associate/bachelor degree preferred.
• Must be registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the MA Board of Pharmacy.
• National certification (CPT) from PTCB or exCPT.
• Minimum four years of related experience.
• Strong interpersonal, telephone communication, and pharmaceutical calculation skills.
• Ability to perform in outpatient operations with inpatient IV competency training.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality patient-focused pharmacy services.
• Train and supervise Pharmacy Technicians I & II.
• Ensure competency across outpatient and inpatient pharmacy operations.
• Complete required IV room competency exams before working in IV room.
