Job summary

Boston Medical Center seeks a Certified Pharmacy Technician III to deliver high quality patient-focused pharmacy services in the inpatient pharmacy setting. The role includes training and oversight of Technicians I & II and working full-time with rotating shifts to support inpatient operations.

Requirements include MA Pharmacy Technician registration, national CPTB or exCPT certification, and at least four years of related experience. Strong interpersonal and math skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Must be registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the MA Board of Pharmacy.
• Must have national certification (CPTB) from PTCB or exCPT.
• Requires minimum of four years of related experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and telephone communication skills; pharmaceutical calculation skills.
• Maintain competency across outpatient pharmacy operations and be proficient in IV room/inpatient requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality patient-focused pharmacy services.
• Provide training and oversight for Pharmacy Technicians I & II.
• Perform duties in outpatient and inpatient pharmacy settings as assigned.
