Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Texas Pharmacy Technician Trainee or equivalent on hire.
• Texas Registered Pharmacy Technician License required on hire.
• 1 year minimum pharmacy practice in an integrated health system with >2080 hours and PTCB cert, OR 2 years hospital pharmacy if not PTCB certified.

Responsibilities

• Fill and dispense unit dose and stock medications to nursing units and departments.
• Fill/dispense oral and IV meds; triage patient orders.
• Maintain the automated dispensing system (ADS) integrity and accuracy.
