Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a pharmacy technician to support pharmacists in dispensing prescriptions and delivering exceptional customer service. You will use pharmacy systems to enter patient data, verify drug information, and help maintain workflow under supervision.

Responsibilities include processing third-party claims, performing clerical duties, and supporting inventory management and customer care at the counter.

Qualifications

• Fluent English required for reading, writing and speaking.
• One year of pharmacy technician work experience in retail or hospital.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Immunization certification within 90 days of hire where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in dispensing prescriptions under supervision.
• Enter patient and drug information in pharmacy systems; verify accuracy.
• Process third-party prescription claims and perform related clerical duties.
• Lead inventory management: order, unpack, store and reconcile pharmaceuticals.
• Deliver excellent customer service and help customers locate products.
