Job summary

Walgreens is seeking an entry-level Pharmacy Technician under the supervision of a pharmacist to assist with prescription processing and customer service in a retail setting.

The role involves using pharmacy systems to obtain patient information, filling prescriptions, handling cash, and supporting inventory and quality assurance efforts while ensuring a positive, compliant experience for customers.

Qualifications

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in dispensing and patient care.
• Enter patient and drug information in pharmacy systems; process prescriptions.
• Fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting and labeling medications; check for interactions.
• Handle cash register and assist with inventory management and clerical duties.
