Job summary

Walgreens in the United States is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists, operate pharmacy systems, and deliver excellent customer service at the store level. You will work under direct supervision to accurately process prescriptions and support the Walgreens team.

Under supervision, you will help with inventory, coaching of technicians and cashiers, and ensuring a safe, compliant dispensing workflow while upholding Walgreens standards and patient care.

Qualifications

• PTCB certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in the practice of pharmacy and other duties per policy.
• Operate pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions; coach technicians and cashiers.
• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Assist in inventory management, scheduling, and error reporting in dispensing activities.
• Support clinical services and coordination with healthcare providers as required.
