Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a capable Pharmacy Technician to support dispensing, patient service, and pharmacy operations in a busy store environment.

You will enter prescriptions, verify information, assist with inventory, and help deliver accurate medication handling and customer care. Prior pharmacy technician experience and PTCB/ExCPT certification are preferred, with a willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire (except in Community Specialty Pharmacy, Health System Pharmacy locations, or in locations where this role is covered under a collective bargaining agreement)

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in dispensing and patient interactions.
• Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems.
• Assist in scheduling and workflow management in the pharmacy.
• Support inventory management and order processing of pharmaceuticals.
• Coordinate with physicians and healthcare providers as needed.
