Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA is seeking a Manager of Pharmacy Procurement to lead the sourcing and negotiation of pharmaceutical supplies for our Quincy, MA location. The role oversees relationships with the pharmacy wholesaler, DSCSA compliance, and recall management, with a hybrid schedule of in-person and remote work.

Responsibilities include optimizing costs, managing vendor relationships, and supporting 340B program administration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Pharmacy, or related field.
• 5–7 years of procurement/sourcing experience in healthcare or pharmacy operations.
• Experience negotiating contracts and pricing with manufacturers or wholesalers.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical purchasing, inventory management and supply chain operations.

Responsibilities

• Actively manage pharmaceutical requirements to optimize cost of goods.
• Maintain supplier relationships to ensure product supply and negotiate terms.
• Coordinate with Retail Operations on product changes, recalls and launches.
• Administer store-level inventory management applications and provide guidance on purchasing.
