Job summary

Blink Health is seeking a Senior Manager, Pharmacy Operations in Pittsburgh to lead prior authorization production for a fast-growing hub pharmacy. You will manage day-to-day execution, set performance targets, and partner cross-functionally to scale workflows, technology, and operating models as the business grows.

You’ll hire, coach, and develop an hourly workforce, use data to drive staffing and KPIs, and build repeatable systems that balance speed with quality while maintaining compliance

Qualifications

• 5+ years of managerial experience scaling operations/production in a startup or high-volume company.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
• Experience leading hourly teams through hiring, coaching, and performance management.
• Experience owning and presenting SLAs, KPIs, and operational reporting.
• Strong problem-solving skills and demonstrated experience using Lean/Six Sigma methods.
• Data-driven with ability to drive metrics and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end production performance for prior authorization workflows, meeting SLA, turnaround time, quality, and productivity targets.
• Establish operating rhythms to manage volume variability, capacity, backlog health, and risk.
• Identify bottlenecks across people, process and technology; implement scalable solutions.
• Hire, lead, and develop a high-performing hourly workforce including front-line specialists and team leads.
• Coach through 1:1s, feedback, and performance management.
• Use data to drive staffing, prioritization, and performance management.
• Partner with Operations, Product and Engineering to improve workflows, tooling.
• Document requirements and validate solutions; support pilots and change management.
