Job summary

Cedars-Sinai is seeking a Principal Data Intelligence Analyst (Pharmacy Lead) to be a strategic analytics partner for pharmacy operations. You will translate business needs into actionable insights, deliver high-value reporting, and collaborate with data engineers, clinicians, and IT to enable data-driven decisions.

The ideal candidate has extensive pharmacy analytics and client-support experience, with proficiency in SQL, Python, and Epic Willow, plus strong stakeholder engagement and project

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of experience in pharmacy analytics or related fields.
• Demonstrated experience supporting pharmacy clients, leaders, pharmacists, clinicians, or healthcare operations teams.
• Strong understanding of pharmacy workflows and performance measures.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor and primary contact for pharmacy clients and stakeholders.
• Lead client engagement, discovery sessions, and consensus-building to understand analytics needs.
• Translate pharmacy workflows and business questions into data, reporting, and analytics requirements.
• Analyze medication utilization, dispensing, inventory, formulary management, and access.
• Manage analytics projects from concept through requirements, development, testing, deployment, and training.
• Collaborate with report developers, data engineers, IT, and pharmacy leaders to deliver solutions.
• Provide QA, data validation, reconciliation, and end-user support for reports and dashboards.
• Use internal and external data to analyze complex pharmacy problems and identify opportunities.
• Provide subject matter expertise on pharmacy reporting systems and performance measures.
• Mentor peers and lead complex initiatives as needed.
