Job summary

UCI Health seeks a data analytics professional to create and maintain enterprise reporting using electronic health data. You will join a multidisciplinary team within the Enterprise Data and Analytics Department and collaborate with UC Health entities across the system.

Qualifications

• Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
• Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field and/or combination of education and equivalent work experience
• Ability to perform basic performance tuning to optimize queries to meet user needs
• Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
• 3+ years of experience with SQL
• 3+ years of experience with MS SQL server or Oracle as well as reporting tools such as SSRS, Tableau, etc
• 3+ year of data analytics experience using relational databases

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain enterprise reporting and analytics solutions using electronic health data.
• Work on a multidisciplinary team of developers within the Enterprise Data and Analytics Department and collaborate with other institutions across the University of California Health.
• Use UCI Health software such as Crystal Reports, SSIS, SSRS, Tableau, Epic Reporting Workbench, Epic Radar, and the enterprise data warehouse to deliver high quality reports and analytic solutions.
• This includes quality metrics, regulatory requirements, and general clinical/operational reporting.
