Job summary

Weis Markets, Inc. is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager in Pennsylvania to lead the pharmacy team, ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, and drive prescription growth through clinical programs and exceptional customer service.

The role requires a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy, immunization certification, and 2+ years of retail pharmacy experience. You will supervise pharmacists and staff, manage inventory, and maintain a secure, efficient department.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or PharmD in Pharmacy required.
Immunization Certification through an accredited organization required.
Retail pharmacy experience preferred (2+ years).

Responsibilities

Maintain collaborative relationship with store operations and communicate strategy to pharmacy staff.
Ensure accuracy of prescriptions through Drug Utilization Review and QA processes.
Manage department to grow script volume via clinical programs including immunization and MTM where available.
Align objectives to key department metrics and deliver excellent customer service.
Supervise pharmacists and pharmacy associates; direct training, coaching and discipline.
Ensure pharmacy area security and handle customer issues to build trust.
Interact with physicians and utilize resources to resolve issues; maintain orderly pharmacy area.
