Job summary

Weis Markets, Inc. is seeking an experienced Pharmacist to lead the on-site pharmacy, deliver patient-centered care, and oversee a team of technicians. You will implement immunization programs, MTM, and clinical services while ensuring compliance and quality standards.

You will collaborate with physicians, manage inventory, and train staff to maintain efficient operations and exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist licensure with PharmD or equivalent.
• Immunization certification required.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal pharmacy regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy of prescriptions via Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance per regulations.
• Grow business through clinical programs including immunization and MTM when available.
• Align department objectives, manage inventories, and meet customer demand to maximize profits.
• Provide excellent healthcare counseling and customer service.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff; train and coach associates.
• Manage the entire pharmacy in the Pharmacy Manager's absence.
• Maintain security and comply with all laws and regulations.
• Interact with physicians and resolve prescription issues.
