Job summary

Viatris Specialty LLC is seeking a results-driven field sales professional for a US territory. You will develop a territory business plan, deliver targeted presentations and achieve quarterly goals while adhering to ethical practices and regulatory requirements.

You will build strong relationships with physicians, pharmacists and internal teams, develop pre-call plans, and leverage samples to raise product awareness. Travel within the territory is required and a valid driver's license is a must.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years pharmaceutical or healthcare sales experience.
• Demonstrated business acumen.
• Demonstrated success in influence and negotiation.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Strong verbal, interpersonal and listening skills.
• Ability to travel throughout territory.
• Must reside in territory geography.
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License and an acceptable driving record.
• Authorization and ability to drive a Company leased vehicle or authorized rental vehicle.
• Professional or Senior leveling based on years of relevant pharmaceutical sales experience.
• Proficiency in English (speaking, reading and writing) required.

Responsibilities

• Develop business plan for assigned territory aligned with Viatris sales plans and objectives.
• Conduct quality sales presentations to targeted customers.
• Achieve quarterly sales goals within territory while following ethics and regulations.
• Understand and demonstrate targeting principles.
• Develop pre-call planning strategy for key targets.
• Build positive relationships with peers, customers and managers.
• Ensure high levels of call and field productivity.
• Gather information from offices and pharmacists to tailor strategies for territory prescribers.
• Leverage sample programs and literature to raise physician awareness.
• Respond to customer requests promptly with accurate information.
• Pursue continuous learning on efficient sales, communication and product knowledge.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
