Job summary

Eagle Analytical is seeking a Lab Manager/Director-level leader to oversee day-to-day and strategic laboratory operations in a GMP environment. You will drive KPIs for turnaround, throughput, and data quality, while ensuring scalable workflows that meet current and future pharmaceutical testing demands.

Responsibilities include leading continuous improvement, guiding method development and validation, and ensuring compliance with cGMP, cGLP, ISO 17025. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or closely related field required.
• Minimum seven (7) years of progressive leadership experience in pharmaceutical or regulated laboratory environments.
• Director- or Senior Manager-level experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for day-to-day and long-term laboratory operations.
• Establish and monitor KPIs for turnaround time, sample throughput, data quality, and efficiency.
• Ensure scalable, efficient operations aligned with current and future pharmaceutical testing demands.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize workflows and resource utilization.
• Serve as SME in pharmaceutical analytical chemistry including method development and validation.
• Ensure analytical data quality meets or exceeds regulatory standards.
• Oversee deviation management and OOS investigations; CAPAs as needed.
• Provide technical guidance to supervisors and staff on analytical challenges.
• Collaborate with client services on technical inquiries and service issues.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, cGLP, ISO 17025 and applicable standards.
• Oversee laboratory quality systems and audit readiness.
• Lead internal, client, and regulatory audits and corrective actions.
• Foster data integrity, documentation excellence, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead and develop laboratory leadership and staff; manage staffing and training.
• Drive safety culture and high performance; manage budgets and procurement.
