Job summary

The Eagle Analytical Services, Inc. lab is seeking a Lab Manager to lead day-to-day and strategic operations in a regulated environment, reporting to the President.

You will establish KPIs for turnaround time, sample throughput, data quality, and operational efficiency; mentor staff; drive continuous improvement; ensure cGMP/cGLP and ISO 17025 compliance; and support audits, CAPAs, client inquiries, and technology upgrades. Collaborate with IT and QA to maintain data integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive leadership in pharmaceutical or regulated labs.
• Deep knowledge of cGMP, cGLP, ISO 17025 and regulatory expectations.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for day-to-day and long-term lab operations.
• Establish and monitor KPIs for turnaround time, throughput, data quality, and efficiency.
• Ensure lab operations are scalable, compliant, and aligned with demand.
• Lead continuous improvement to optimize workflows, resources, and performance.
• Oversee method development, validation, and routine testing; ensure data quality.
• Manage deviations, OOS investigations, CAPAs, and audit readiness.
• Mentor and develop laboratory leadership and staff; ensure training adequacy.
• Collaborate with client services to address technical inquiries and service issues.
• Maintain safety culture and EHS programs; manage budgets and procurement.
• Travel up to 10% to customer or partner sites as required.
