Job summary

Eagle Analytical Services in Phoenix, AZ, seeks a Lab Manager to oversee day-to-day and strategic lab operations, ensuring throughput, data quality, and regulatory compliance (cGMP, cGLP, ISO 17025). You will lead supervisors, drive KPI initiatives, and foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

You are a subject matter expert in pharmaceutical analytical chemistry, with 7+ years in regulated labs, and a track record in audits, CAPAs, method development, and staff development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive leadership in pharmaceutical or regulated labs.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP, cGLP, ISO 17025 and regulatory expectations.
• Experience with deviation management, OOS investigations, CAPAs, and audits.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for day-to-day and long-term lab operations.
• Establish and monitor KPIs for turnaround time, throughput, data quality and efficiency.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize workflows and resource use.
• Oversee laboratory quality systems, QA objectives, and audit readiness.
• Mentor and develop laboratory leadership and technical staff.
• Travel up to 10% to customer or partner locations as required.
