AstraZeneca Mt. Vernon site is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to provide technical support for formulation, investigate process deviations, and lead technology transfer within the Manufacturing Technology group.

The role emphasizes leadership, process optimization, and collaboration with Production, Engineering, Automation, and Quality to improve product yield, quality, and supply reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree required in a technical field.
• Minimum 4 years in pharma production or process engineering.
• Strong knowledge of cGMPs and leadership capabilities.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for Formulation areas and investigate process deviations.
• Lead projects to reduce cost, improve yield, and ensure quality.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Automation, and Quality.
• Lead technology transfer to Mount Vernon site.
• Design and validate process changes and qualifications.
• Mentor new Process Engineers and interns.
