Job summary

Texas Oncology is seeking a PET Technologist to support the Dallas Sammons location. Role can be Level 1, 2, or Sr based on experience.

The PET Technologist will perform PET imaging, assist with scheduling, maintain patient data and imaging archiving, and ensure safety and QA compliance. Ideal candidates hold Nuclear Medicine or Radiologic Technology degrees with AMA accreditation, PET-CT certification, CNMT/ARRT(N) where applicable, and 3–5 years of Nuclear Medicine/PET experience.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or Radiologic Technology from an AMA accredited program.
• PET-CT certification.
• State licensure where applicable (CNMT/ARRT(N)).
• Minimum 3–5 years experience in nuclear medicine or PET.

Responsibilities

• Performs PET imaging procedures and related functions under supervision.
• Collaborates with Medical Director on technical issues and QA.
• Supports compliance programs and ethics standards.
• Handles scheduling support and front-office coordination to maintain workflow.
• Manages patient data, archiving, and image data transfers.
• Assists with safety, daily QC, and equipment maintenance.
