Olympus Insurance Company seeks a Personal Lines Underwriting Manager in Florida to lead a high-performing team, making thoughtful underwriting decisions that balance growth, profitability, and service.

You will oversee new business and renewal underwriting, develop team talent, and collaborate across departments to strengthen underwriting strategies and processes for agents and policyholders.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Personal Lines underwriting experience; Florida homeowners experience preferred.
• 3+ years of experience leading, coaching, or developing others.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred; CPCU and Florida licenses preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead & Develop the Underwriting Team: coach, mentor, and support the Personal Lines Underwriting team while driving accountability and development.
• Support Underwriting Quality & Consistency: oversee new business and renewal underwriting and monitor performance metrics.
• Strengthen Processes & Solutions: collaborate to simplify workflows, evaluate vendor solutions, and align with product and claims teams.
