Job summary

The Ward Law Group, P.L. in New York City seeks an experienced Senior Case Manager to join our personal injury team.

You will independently manage a high-volume caseload while delivering exceptional service to clients throughout their lives of cases. The ideal candidate has extensive New York personal injury experience, strong knowledge of NY procedures and deadlines, and experience with auto accidents, premises liability, construction/Labor Law, and other complex claims.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
• 4–7+ years of personal injury case management experience.
• Strong New York personal injury experience required.
• Experience managing approximately 75–150+ active cases.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organization, deadline management, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively with injured clients with professionalism, empathy, and urgency.

Responsibilities

• Manage approximately 75–150+ personal injury cases from intake through settlement or litigation transition.
• Maintain regular communication with clients regarding case status and next steps.
• Coordinate with insurance carriers, medical providers, opposing counsel, and other parties.
• Assist attorneys with discovery, depositions, and litigation preparation.
• Maintain accurate and detailed case notes in Litify.
• Mentor and support junior case managers and paralegals.
• Identify and track liens and ensure timely case documentation.
• Support settlement and disbursement processes to resolve files efficiently.
