Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school is required.
• New York State Bar membership in good standing is required/strongly preferred.
• 3+ years of plaintiff personal injury experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage plaintiff personal injury cases through pre-litigation, litigation, and resolution.
• Evaluate liability, insurance coverage, damages, and case value to develop strategies.
• Oversee pre-litigation case development, review demands, and negotiate settlements with insurance carriers.
• Identify cases requiring litigation and prepare pleadings, motions, and discovery.
• Conduct depositions and represent clients at hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences.
• Prepare cases for trial and collaborate with trial counsel as needed.
• Keep clients informed and coordinate with support staff to meet deadlines and move cases forward.
