Job summary

Peoples Security Bank and Trust Company is seeking a branch-focused professional to deliver exceptional customer service and financial guidance. You will counsel clients, process a variety of banking transactions, and support branch operations both in-person and virtually.

You may lead Personal Bankers, contribute to onboarding and development, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of consumer and business banking products and services. Strong communication and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree or General Banking Diploma preferred.
• 2-4 years' experience in a related position normally required.
• Training in customer service, polite and effective communication practices, and relationship building and management needed.

Responsibilities

• Processes customer transactions (checks, deposits, withdrawals, payments, money orders, cashier\'s checks, cash advances, wires) accurately and compliantly.
• Balances cash drawer and night deposits; services and balances the ATM; manages vault transactions.
• Guides daily work procedures, schedules, and cash handling; ensures compliance with banking regulations.
• Engages customers in person or virtually to attract, retain, and grow relationships; researches and resolves client questions.
• May supervise Personal Bankers, providing onboarding and coaching to staff; assists in Talent Acquisition and Performance Evaluation.
