Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age and a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of accountable cash handling in a retail or customer service setting.
• Successful completion of the FNBT Step Program for internal employees.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Pass background investigation as required by policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service handling cash receipts and payments in a high-volume environment.
• Follow bank policies and supervisor directions.
• Assess customer relationships to offer bank products and services.
• Contribute to monthly new account production targets set by management.
• Engage in in-store prospecting and cross-sell bank services.
• Process deposits, verify funds, and balance daily transactions.
• Receive cash and checks, verify amounts, and check endorsements.
• Identify counterfeit documents and protect against fraud.
• Enter transactions into computer systems and issue receipts.
• Sell money orders, cashier's checks, wires, and CDs; handle Western Union transactions.
• Serve a diverse customer base, including Spanish-speaking customers.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality; perform other duties as assigned.
