Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
• 1-2 years ER experience required.
• Preoperative or PACU experience required.
• Current state licensure in good standing.
• BLS/BCLS, ACLS and PALS certifications as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA.
• Assess preoperative and postoperative status per policy, including cardiovascular, respiratory, neurological, and pain management needs.
• Describe physiology and pathophysiology relevant to anesthesia and perioperative care.
• Develop and implement perioperative plans of care and ensure patient safety and education.
• Provide hand-off reports and collaborate effectively with the care team.
