Tufts Medicine is seeking an experienced perioperative nurse leader to develop nursing staff within a designated practice area and impact patient outcomes through consultation on care issues. The role encompasses clinical practice, professional development, collaboration, staff leadership, and evidence-based practice.
Responsibilities include serving as a clinical resource, coordinating with the Department of Surgery, and guiding QA initiatives while maintaining safety and regulatory standards.
Formación
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
- RN license required.
- BLS certification required.
- Two years of nursing experience with one year in clinical specialty preferred.
- ACLS/PALS or related certifications may be required.
Responsabilidades
- Interprets and supports hospital mission and perioperative nursing practice.
- Serves as a clinical resource and role model for nursing staff.
- Collaborates with Surgery Department to educate staff and patients.
- Develops, monitors, and evaluates QA projects at unit/hospital level.
- Maintains competency with safety standards and mandatory requirements.
- Trains staff on new products and equipment; supports ongoing competency.
