Job summary

Employees Retirement System of Texas (ERS) seeks an experienced PeopleSoft ERP Developer to perform advanced systems analysis and development for its Benefits and Pension administration applications. The role emphasizes data mapping from PeopleSoft to a new system, extensive collaboration with ETL teams, and building complex PeopleSoft programs using SQR, PeopleCode, and Application Engine.

Qualifications

Four-year degree and related experience or substitution as allowed by policy.
Experience with PeopleSoft Benefits Administration, Pension Administration, Base Benefits, and HR/financial systems preferred.
Strong SQL, SQR, PeopleCode, and Application Engine programming skills.

Responsibilities

Perform advanced systems analysis, programming, and development across ERS PeopleSoft applications and modules.
Develop data mapping rules from PeopleSoft to a new system through collaboration with ETL developers and analysts.
Write, test, debug, and maintain complex PeopleSoft programs using SQR, PeopleCode, and Application Engine.
Design PeopleSoft Pages and Components and work with PeopleSoft XML Publisher reporting.
Use PeopleSoft integration tools and web services to integrate with third-party systems.
Prepare technical design documents and estimate development efforts.
