Confidential is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to help build the people infrastructure for rapid growth in a media environment. This role blends strategic partnering with hands-on execution, advising leaders, coaching managers, and shaping scalable HR processes.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced startup-like setting, demonstrate strong employee relations and coaching capabilities, and operate with autonomy across the business.

Qualifications

• Significant HRBP or HR leadership experience in startup/high-growth media environments.
• Strong employee relations and manager coaching experience.
• Experience coaching and developing managers who are new to people management.
• Experience with performance management, development, and organizational effectiveness.
• Experience building or improving HR processes, programs, and infrastructure.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders on employee relations, performance, development, organizational effectiveness, and day-to-day people matters.
• Coach managers through challenging employee situations and help them become more effective leaders.
• Support performance management, including goal setting, performance improvement plans, difficult conversations, and ongoing performance coaching.
• Provide guidance on employee relations issues, balancing employee experience, business needs, and company policies.
• Identify opportunities to improve how the organization operates and build processes, tools, and programs where they don’t yet exist.
• Help create structure without creating unnecessary bureaucracy.
