Job summary

Commure is seeking a Senior People Business Partner to work with Engineering, Product, and Design. You will partner with leaders to address people and organizational challenges, strengthen manager effectiveness, and drive data-informed decisions across the employee lifecycle.

You will build relationships, identify issues early, and own work end-to-end. This hybrid role requires 3 days per week at our Mountain View HQ, helping shape people strategy and organizational growth.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a similar role.
• Experience supporting senior leaders in a high-growth, fast-paced startup environment.
• Experience with HR tools, automation, and AI, with the ability to build self-service resources and automate repeatable work.
• Exceptional organizational and project planning skills, with the ability to organize details, align stakeholders, and drive work to completion.
• Experience supporting and standardized compensation, equity, performance, retention, talent management, and employee relations.
• Strong coaching skills and the ability to raise and reinforce management standards.
• Business acumen and the ability to use data to forecast problems and drive decisions.
• Track record of owning ambiguous problems through resolution.
• Ability to operate independently, move quickly, and work across functions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a hands-on People partner to leaders across org design, talent planning, team effectiveness, and workforce decisions.
• Coach managers on performance, feedback, career development, difficult conversations, and day-to-day management practices.
• Partner on compensation and equity planning, including reviews and allocation decisions.
• Use people data and business context to identify trends, risks, and opportunities across retention, performance, engagement, and talent.
• Develop and support retention strategies for critical talent and teams.
• Build relationships across teams and surface risks and opportunities.
• Move work forward with cross-functional collaboration (People, Finance, Legal, Talent).
• Build scalable processes to improve consistency and decision-making.
