Job summary

1X is seeking a Senior People Partner to own organizational design, talent, and leadership capability for a defined client group as the company scales. You’ll work directly with executives and VPs to shape structure, develop leaders, and defend compensation and performance decisions.

You will lead organizational design, workforce planning, and management of performance, promotion, and compensation cycles end to end, ensuring decisions are defensible and timely.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of HR experience, including 5+ years as a dedicated HR Business Partner
• Proven sole/lead People partner to VP-level and executives in a defined client group
• Proven leadership of org design, workforce planning, and succession for a client group
• Experience running full performance, promotion, and compensation cycles end to end
• Experience leading complex employee relations investigations independently, with knowledge of California employment law
• Ability to work onsite in San Carlos, CA

Responsibilities

• Own the People partnership for your client group and be the first call on org, talent, and leadership decisions
• Lead organizational design and workforce planning to ensure headcount and structure are in place for growth
• Run end-to-end performance, promotion, and compensation cycles with calibration and executive review
• Lead complex employee relations investigations and protect the employee experience
• Design and lead People programs to raise manager effectiveness across the company
