Job summary
Blue Origin is seeking a strategic leader to run the People Ops & Tech business operations program. You will manage status, risk, and escalation, and create a single source of truth across 50+ enhancement projects and ongoing service work, with AI-enabled improvements across planning, reporting, and delivery.
You will partner with product, data, and service teams to design controls, dashboards, and audit routines, and you will advise the HR Technology & Operations leader while driving cross-team
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in business operations, program or portfolio management, technology operations, or a related field, including experience supporting a senior leadership team
- Experience designing and running operating rhythms, status reporting, and risk, issue, and escalation management in a large, complex organization
- Experience in portfolio and work management practices across agile and non-agile delivery models
- Experience managing or overseeing large portfolios of concurrent projects and ongoing service operations.
Responsibilities
- Run the business operations engine.
- Own the organization's operating rhythm: weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews, leadership team cadences, planning cycles, and executive reporting.
- Own status, risk, and issue management with consistent reporting mechanisms and escalation across all teams.
- Modernize work and portfolio management across the HR Tech and service delivery portfolio.
- Build integrated dashboards and reporting for leadership visibility and automate data collection.
- Build audit and quality mechanisms and drive root cause analysis and corrective action.
- Apply AI to operations and scale effective tools and processes.
- Drive operational performance with metrics on delivery, service quality, and customer experience.
- Partner across leadership to align goals, budgets, and OKRs.
- Act as trusted advisor to the HR Technology & Operations leader and coach teams.
