Job summary

Scandit is seeking a Hands-on People Operations & ER Advisor to be the first point of contact for London and Europe. You’ll manage HRIS data, onboarding, and employee lifecycle tasks, while advising managers on ER matters.

The role also covers Workplace Experience, events, and office operations in a hybrid London setting, with on-site presence three days a week. You’ll work across People projects, maintain documentation, ensure compliance, and leverage AI tools for routine drafting with a focus

Qualifications

• Experience in a People or HR operations role in a fast-growing tech or SaaS business.
• Confident handling first-line employee relations cases with knowledge of UK employment law.
• Hands-on experience with an HRIS and case management systems.
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to deliver both support and firm guidance.
• Proactive ownership; able to switch between advisory work, systems clean‑up and events.
• English proficiency; additional European language is a plus.
• Familiar with Slack, Zoom and Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for employee queries and manage information flow.
• Maintain People Systems and ensure data accuracy for Payroll and compliance.
• Maintain HR documentation and contracts; manage lifecycle from offers to leavers.
• Coordinate onboarding and Day 1 orientation for London starters.
• Track spend against People budgets and support purchasing and invoicing.
• Support projects across learning, career growth, performance, and wellbeing.
• Leverage AI tools for drafting while maintaining confidentiality.
