Job summary

Nourish is hiring a Head of People Strategy & Ops to shape and lead our People function as we scale. You will partner with the executive team, Finance, IT, Clinical Strategy, Sales, and Engineering to uphold a high talent bar, develop and retain talent, and drive performance across the organization.

This is a full-time role open to NYC-based candidates only, with an expectation to work in-person approximately three days per week at our Gramercy office, and some remote flexibility.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of experience combining strategy work and startup experience.
• Strong people instincts and communication skills to influence C-suite stakeholders.
• Uses data and first principles to solve problems; challenges conventional thinking when needed.
• Operationally excellent; can manage high volumes of moving pieces with attention to detail.
• Highly collaborative and able to work across departments to drive goals.
• Energized by building structure and momentum in undefined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage the People Strategy & Operations function; build the team as we scale, owning org design, planning, tech stack, hiring, and key metrics.
• Drive strategy for the People function, focusing on talent density, upskilling, manager enablement, retention, performance, and culture; roadmap development and execution.
• Develop the operating system needed to scale; design processes, tools, and cadences for performance across functions.
• Own all People Operations processes and systems; optimize the People tech stack, budgets, and vendor relationships.
• Be a trusted partner to the executive team and department heads, voicing the needs of the people and the team.
