Job summary

MGT Insurance is seeking a Senior People Operations Lead to own the employee experience foundation. You will design and run HR systems, payroll, benefits, compliance, and data workflows with AI/automation to scale the organization.

Partnering with the Head of People, Product, Engineering, and teams, you’ll craft scalable processes, maintain data integrity, and drive efficient human-AI collaboration as MGT grows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in People or HR Operations, building scalable processes and infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience using AI/automation platforms to improve workflows.
• Experience owning an HRIS (e.g., Rippling) including workflows and data integrity.
• Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll and benefits.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable HR systems, workflows, and infrastructure to support growth.
• Redesign onboarding, offboarding, and processes using AI/automation.
• Create self-service tools and internal AI agents for employees and managers.
• Own and optimize HRIS and People tech stack, including data governance.
• Partner with Product/Engineering to integrate AI teammates and human-AI workflows.
• Evaluate People tech to reduce admin work and increase capacity.
• Turn People data into headcount, turnover, compensation, and trends reporting.
• Ensure payroll and benefits are accurate and increasingly automated.
• Ensure multi-state compliance, reporting, tracking, and alerts.
