Job summary

Biofire Technologies in Colorado is seeking a Senior People Business Partner to own day-to-day HR operations, benefits, payroll coordination, HRIS and onboarding. You will be a trusted advisor to managers across Engineering, Manufacturing, Consumer Operations, and Core Operations, partnering with the Head of People to translate vision into adopted programs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive HR/People experience spanning HR operations and employee relations.
• Ability to build People processes in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
• Track record of earning trust and influence with managers through judgment and curiosity.
• Meticulous, data-driven approach to payroll/benefits.
• Hands-on experience with an HRIS (Rippling or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end execution of benefits, payroll, HRIS workflows, garnishments, and onboarding.
• Serve as the go-to resource for employees and managers on People matters, resolving most issues independently.
• Build advisory relationships with leaders across Engineering, Manufacturing, Consumer Operations, and Core Operations.
• Partner with the Head of People to turn vision into adopted programs with project plans and ownership.
• Maintain HRIS data accuracy and implement processes to catch errors before they happen.
• Collaborate with Recruiting, IT, and Finance where People work intersects.
